The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (11)

I have an iPhone 4 CDMA Verizon Wireless, and the iOS is 6.1 10B141 with a jailbreak on it. I was going to restore my phone to do a refresh restore and than do a re-jailbreak with evasi0n. I followed the instructions from one of my earlier threads on here and the instructions are posted by another member. When I do Shift+restore and after the Extracting software, I get an error that says The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (11). I don't know what that means and I don't know how to fix it. So, how could I restore a jailbroken iPhone and than re-jailbreak it again? Here are the instructions I followed: 1. run ifaith 2. click build signed ipsw with blobs 3. select the dumped .ifaith extension blob (keep a local backup of it just in case) 4. it'll verify that the blob is valid and complete, then choose download for me when it asks you to choose the firmware 5. once do

iPhone Could Not Be Restored (Error 14)

I realize there are a handful of error 14 threads, however my situation may be unique (to the threads I found). My wife's phone randomly crashed. Completely. We managed to get it into DFU (plug into iTunes) mode. Every time I try and restore we get error 14. Phone is/was NOT jailbroken. Any thoughts?

HELP > "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1600)"

Hi everyone. I tried jailbreaking my iPhone 3G (2.1 firmware) using PwnageTool on my iMac, using this tutorial: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=550964 Everything was going well until I got to the point where I had to shift-click on the Restore button on iTunes and choose the ipsw. file it had created. I located the file, clicked on it, it started extracting and when it got to the end, I got the following message. "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1600)" I tried to Google it but the results I got were not very clear so I decided to ask you guys for some help. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Yani

new iphone 3gs could not be restored - unknown error -1

Hi, I bought this 16gb iphone 3gs 3 weeks ago and yesterday it crashed during a software update. I can't do anything with it any more, it is in some sort of safe/recovery mode and just tells me to plug into PC/Itunes. When I do that, ITunes tells me I need to restore it, I say yes but it crashes with: "iphone could not be restored, unknown error (-1)" the software update file is iPhone2,1_3.0.1_7A400_Restore.ipsw Note I didn't do anything special with my phone, just added a few contacts and downloaded a few popular apps. What should I do? I restarted Itunes, my computer, tried a different USB port... but got the same thing. Anyone else in the same boat? should I just use the insurance and get a new one? Thanks MonsieurX

The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (3014).

Hi, I've recently encountered a problem where my phone will not turn on. It gets stuck on the Apple Logo and will not restore. Upon restoring, it Extracts the software, but as soon as it tries to 'verify' it with Apple, I get the error message: Quote: The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (3014). Has anyone else had this problem and is there any way to fix it? Looks to me like a System file has corrupt in some way. I have used DiskAid to backup my photo's and a few Apps, but it doesn't let me access some Apps and Data so I can't access everything. Should I delete the root files? Or is that going to cause problem
